Call for Nominations
The New Brunswick Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI-NB) is seeking individuals interested in contributing their leadership to the chapter as a member of its Board of Directors (BOD). Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is being held in Saint John on May 22, 2019. Please visit our website for more details and to register for attendance at the AGM.
We are looking for new Board of Directors members to:

Work with like-minded people in a collaborative atmosphere

Meet people from around the province, Canada, the north-eastern United States, and even globally
-
Spend 5-15 hours a month in making a difference in your profession and your community

Earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) for volunteering

Have some fun while Networking with other Professionals
The current list of open contestable positions includes (this list could expand):

VP Service Delivery
-
VP Finance
-
President-Elect (only open to current PMINB Board of Directors that have served continuously since the most recent AGM)

Various Director Positions (these are still being determined based on eligibility and the strategic focus for the organization, the maximum number of which is under review by the nomination committee)
Nominations will be accepted until May 22, 2019, and at the AGM in Saint John. Members may self-nominate or nominate other members whom they feel would be an asset to the BOD (the nominated member will be contacted to ensure they are willing to stand for election). Anyone nominated at the AGM by someone else will need to accept in person. An election, if required, will be held at the AGM. In order to be on the BOD for PMI-NB, one must be a member of PMI and PMI-NB at the time of the AGM. Nominations must be submitted to the Past President in order to be qualified. There will be no release of a list of nominations until the AGM.
